1. Coercion and Entrapment
We undertake not to coerce or entrap the subject of investigation into entering any activity that he or she would not do as part of their normal routine.
2. Legal Compliance
All investigations are conducted within the bounds of both criminal and civil law.
3. Professional Conduct
We conduct our professional duties in accordance with the highest standards and undertake not to be guilty of any conduct, which could potentially bring reproach upon the client or the company.
4. Courtesy
In the event that we should come into contact with the subject or other persons under investigation, they are treated with courtesy and respect.
5. Claimant Confidentiality
The identity of any subject under investigation is kept strictly confidential and all material is maintained under secure conditions.
6. Client Confidentiality
The identity of our client in any investigation is kept strictly confidential and we undertake not to disclose our activities on their behalf to the media or any other third party unless compelled to do so by law.
7. Client Profile
CAIA only act for clients who have a lawful reason to instruct an investigation.
8. Data Protection Act
At all times, we will abide by the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
9. Retention of Evidence
We undertake to maintain, in a secure place, all evidence obtained (in whatever format) for a period of three years after the final completion of each assignment.
10. Ownership of Evidence
Evidence obtained will remain strictly the property of the client and will not be offered to any other person, or company, without the clients written permission.
